Upcoming changes are happening to Adulting Made Easy and here’s why I’ve made the difficult decision to change how my website operates.

Recently, Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) updated their terms, which has forced sellers like myself to make some tough decisions about how and where we sell our resources.

To be completely transparent, I’m not happy with the options we’ve been given. I’ve spent years building my own website and store, and I love being able to offer resources directly to you. However, between running AME, being a full-time special education teacher, and raising two little ones, I have to make decisions that are best for my family and manageable for me at this stage of life.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to transition my website into a resource catalog, with all future purchases taking place through my TPT store starting January 1, 2027.

So, what does this mean for you?

• Rewards Points: If you’ve earned rewards points from previous purchases, you’ll have until December 31, 2026 to redeem them. You will no longer earn new points on purchases, but you can still use the points you’ve already accumulated until the deadline.
• Gift Cards: If you have an unused Adulting Made Easy gift card or remaining gift card balance, please make sure to use it by December 31, 2026, before website checkout closes. Gift cards purchased through my website cannot be transferred to or redeemed on TPT.
• Future Purchases After January 1, 2027: You’ll still be able to browse resources on SpedAdulting.com, but when you’re ready to purchase, you’ll be directed to my TPT store.
• Previous Purchases: You’ll still be able to access your previous downloads through your SpedAdulting.com account. You won’t need to repurchase anything you’ve already bought.
• Website Checkout: The option to purchase directly through my website will officially close on December 31, 2026.

I want to emphasize that Adulting Made Easy isn’t going anywhere!

I’ll still be creating new resources, sharing classroom ideas, and providing the same materials you’ve come to expect. The only difference is where purchases will take place.

This wasn’t an easy decision, and I know these changes may be inconvenient for some of you. I genuinely appreciate everyone who has chosen to support my website directly over the years. Every purchase has helped support my small business and my family, and that means more to me than you know.
