🍲 Cooking the Pasta
Fill a pot with 4–6 quarts of water, add a pinch of salt, and bring it to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook for 7–9 minutes, stirring occasionally. Use a timer if helpful, then drain when finished.

🔥 Prepare Meatbals
Heat the meatballs using any method you prefer. The microwave is the quickest—just follow the directions on the package to use the microwave, oven or air fryer.
🧄 Mix sauce & food coloring
Return the drained pasta to the pot, pour in the Alfredo sauce, and mix in your desired food coloring (we used green). Check out this dye-free plant-based food color.
- If you’d rather not use food coloring, try blending the sauce with spinach or using basil pesto to make it green naturally.
👀 Making the eyes
Use a pasta ladle to scoop the spaghetti into a bowl. Place meatballs on top of the spaghetti using tongs. This step can double as a fun counting activity for students! Slice the mozzarella balls into flat circles. Place one slice on each meatball, then top with a black olive slice.

🍽️ Enjoy your scary meal!
