The end of the school year can feel overwhelming. After a long year and a Spring Break that never seems long enough, it’s totally normal to feel exhausted and low on energy for lesson planning. Reward your students for all their hard work by hosting a movie day! If you think watching a movie in school isn’t educational, think again. ICE CREAM THEMED ACTIVITIES

Summer is almost here, make math fun with this ice cream themed worksheet set!  Simplified Functional & differentiated life skills subtraction problems using priced menus. Students are given a bill amount for how much money they have to make a purchase ($1.00, $5.00, $10.00, $20.00, $50.00, and $100.00), then subtract the item they will be purchasing to figure out how much change they get back.

CINCO DE MAYO THEMED LESSONS

Cinco De Mayo is May 5th. Below is an adapted, differentiated and age-appropriate art lessons – easy to follow step by step how to draw activities for all levels! I do one a day with my students and they really look forward to this activity each day! Check out some other Mexican/Taco themed resources!

SUMMER THEMED ACTIVITIES

Prepare students with summer safety tips while sneaking in some reading comprehension. Have a daily discussion starter that is fun and thought provoking. Or have some fun with adapted art lessons!

Many students will be traveling this summer, prepare them with some functional activities that help them with safety, etiquette, reading schedules, and budgeting with these activities!
